Balloon Festivals
As the only ballooning company to be a member of the UK Air Display Association Skypower are well known for their expertise in coordinating and managing the flying element of a number of shows. Skypower are pleased to manage for Southampton, Basingstoke and Merseyside their annual Balloon Festival. Skypower's experienced team are very proud that they have for several years successfully controlled all flying operations at the event which handles the operation of up to 70 balloons flying within the controlled airspace of an international airport and within sight of the coast. The event continues to grow in size and popularity. |

Southampton, Oxford, Merseyside, Aviemore, Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council, Swindon Borough Council and a number of other major event organisers continue to use Skypower's expertise in the handling of their large Balloon Festivals. The company has also taken balloons around the world successfully managing the British contingent of balloons to take part in the Canberra Festival, Australia, and other overseas venues such as Canada and Europe. Negotiating permissions, transport and local licences. Skypower are continually active in creating new innovative concepts in the UK and around the world. Acting as consultants to local authorities and national leisure organisations. |
