Ride The Night: Downhill Into Darkness was a promotional video shot for Vice Sport to celebrate the Samsung Galaxy S7. We provided elevated videography using our CableCam system. As you can imagine, shooting in the dark comes with complications but i’m sure you’ll agree the footage showcases just what is possible. An excellent way to capture elevated shots through the Forest of Dean. The camera used to capture the footage was the Sony A7S II. Our CableCam utilises the latest gyro technology, dynema cable and powerful motors allowing us to travel ultra slow or up to 30mph over 200m of cable. It can travel on a level slope at up to 30lb all up weight. Power is provided by on-board lithium polymer battery packs. It’s possible to reach speeds of up to 30mph (50kph) on an unsloped cable or move as slow as 18″ per minute (0.5m per minute) for smooth slow motions. Find out more about our CableCam here.
